Connect your AI assistant to Foro

Foro can work with the AI assistant you already use. Once connected, you can ask it about your campaigns, what's still for sale, what a stretch of screen time costs, or what's waiting on your network, and it answers from your own Foro data. This page explains how to connect one, what it can and can't do, and how to take access away.

Who it's for

Advertisers can let an assistant see their own campaigns, approved creative and credit, find remaining time on a network, get Foro's firm price, and Hold or Secure a stretch with the powers they allow.

Network operators can let an assistant read their network: what's on the screens, what's booked and collected, who has signed up, and what's waiting for a person. A network connection reads; it does not change prices or approve anything.

If you both run a network and buy on it, one connection can do both. You choose which when you allow it.

How to connect

Sign in to Foro and open Agents in the header. Choose your assistant. Foro opens your assistant at the right place and keeps a small guide beside it while you add Foro once:

  • ChatGPT: choose +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it Foro, paste the address Foro copied, choose OAuth, and create it.
  • Grok: choose New Connector, then Custom. Name it Foro, paste, and press Add.
  • Claude: in Customize, Connectors, choose +, then Add custom connector. Name it Foro, paste, and press Add.
  • Gemini: in Settings, Connected Apps, under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app, paste, and press Next. Google allows this for personal accounts in the US.
  • Muse: paste the message Foro copies into a new Muse chat and send it. Muse adds Foro itself.

Your assistant then opens Foro's sign-in in its own window. Sign in, choose the network or advertiser account, read what the assistant will be able to do, and press Allow. The window closes and you're back in your assistant, connected. Ask it something real to start.

On a company plan (ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, Claude Team or Enterprise, Grok Business), an administrator may need to add Foro once for everyone first.

What it can and can't do

An assistant can only do what you allowed, for one network or one advertiser account. It can't see another company's account or another network, change Foro's prices or selling rules, or Bid unless that is turned on separately. Foro keeps the price and the availability: a Secure is charged at exactly the price Foro quoted.

You can write standing instructions for it, called a brief, on Agents. A brief guides the assistant; it never gives it more access than you allowed.

Removing access

Open the connection on Agents and choose Remove access. The assistant loses access straight away; what was booked stays. If an assistant's sign-in lapses, it will ask you to reconnect, and you allow it again in the same way.

For technical users

Foro is a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP at https://foro.live/api/agent/mcp/connect, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in (PKCE, dynamic client registration or a client ID metadata document). There is no API key. Any compatible assistant can add that address as a custom connector. Questions: Foro support.
